Inter and Fiorentina to compete for Sassuolo striker

Serie A sides Fiorentina and Inter are set to compete in the January transfer window for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

Daniele Longo has reported that it seems like a possibility that Dusan Vlahovic could leave in January and Fiorentina would need to sign a striker to replace the player in the winter transfer window itself. They see Scamacca as a main target and the Italian would also like to leave the Neroverdi in search for more game time to express himself.

Inter are also interested and they could also make a move in January, as they have wishes to sign him on an initial loan with the obligation to buy permanently. The relations between Inter and Sassuolo are excellent and that could help the Nerazzurri.

The asking price for the striker last summer was €35 million but it has now reduced to around €25 million and that can make it easier for Fiorentina or Inter to sign him.
