Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi could be set to be handed a new role by Simone Inzaghi this season.
This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim that Sensi is now close to full recovery from his knee injury and he is expected to be make the bench for the upcoming game against Lazio.
On Monday, he underwent training with the team and the recovery has gone quite well for the Italian. But with doubts coming up about the potential availability of Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa, Inzaghi could well use Sensi as a forward beside Edin Dzeko.
The club aren’t looking to rush the player in but they are certainly looking to get him into the squad for the Lazio game.
