Inter’s Eriksen trains with the ball for the first time since cardiac arrest

Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen has trained with the ball at his feet for the first time since he fell victim to a cardiac arrest in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated that while Eriksen’s future remains uncertain, he trained with the ball in Odense 173 days after the incident in the Euros. Eriksen has a villa right next to the sports centre of the first division team.

Eriksen showed up with a personal trainer to do some drills with cones and even took some shots on goal. Ajax are his preferred destination for whenever he leaves Inter, because rules for footballers with defibrillator are different in Denmark, Netherlands and even England.

At the moment, however, these speculations are said to be premature and it is believed that Eriksen wants to keep his case low-key.
