Maldini and Massara push Milan management for Messias move

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are said to be pushing the Milan management to move for Crotone’s Junior Messias this summer.

La Repubblica have claimed that while Torino are interested in the Brazilian, they aren’t willing to meet the €10 million asking price. Milan would present a dream for the striker but the club’s management isn’t fully convinced about moving for the Brazilian.

Elliot’s approach is to sign younger players with a resale value, while Messias is 30 already. But Maldini and Massara remain convinced that he will bring something important to the plate and Elliot would need to be convinced as well.

While Milan remain interested in the 30-year-old, Porto’s Jesus Corona has also emerged as an option.
