Mihajlovic unhappy with Bologna for deadline day Tomiyasu sale to Arsenal

Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has expressed some frustration at his club for having sold Takehiro Tomiyasu to Arsenal on deadline.

Mihajlovic was talking to the press during the Fair Play Menarini award ceremony and he was asked about the sale of the Japanese defender. He made it clear that while he was quite happy with the club earlier, he’s not too happy now.

He stated: “Am I happy with Bologna? Until yesterday, I was. A little less today. His sale was forseeable but one day before the end of the transfer market, we’re a little sorry.”

Tomiyasu was linked with Tottenham throughout the window, but he’s now joined their rivals Arsenal for a fee of €20m.
