Milan and Inter’s new stadium to be called ‘Cathedral’

Milan and Inter’s new stadium will be called ‘Cathedral’ and the Rossoneri have confirmed details about the project in a statement.

Milan released a statement on their website, stating that the next few weeks will be dedicated to finalising the development process of the project. The area around the San Siro will be reshaped and it will involve the creation of a new district for sports and leisure.

This district will be pedestrians only and the parking lot will be underground and the final project outline will be presented to the public in 2022. The new San Siro will be designed by Populous’ Milan office with the support of their EMEA team in London
