Milan make contact to extend Kjaer’s contract

Milan have made contact with the agents of Simon Kjaer to extend the contract of the Danish defender.

Daniele Longo has reported that Stefano Pioli wants to build his current and future squad around Kjaer and both Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara share the same view.

Contact with his agent has been made and Milan are thinking about handing him a two-year deal and a slight bump in wages from what his current deal gives him.

It remains to be seen if Milan offer him an initial year with the option for another season but the certainty is that they see him as a key part of the project.
