Napoli make unsatisfactory Insigne offer, Toronto not first choice

Napoli have made a new contract offer for Lorenzo Insigne, who doesn’t see Toronto FC as his first-choice destination.

Il Mattino claim that Aurelio de Laurentiis offered €3 million per season to the Euro 2020 winner, who considers the offer quite unsatisfactory. But the player has received concrete interest from just one club so far and that is Toronto FC from the MLS.

But the club isn’t the first or second choice for the player and Inter are higher up on his list of preferred destinations. His contract runs out in the summer of 2022.
