Roma set to close Lorenzo Pellegrini new contract

Serie A side Roma are now set to close the deal to get Lorenzo Pellegrini to sign a new deal at the club.

Journalist Francesco Balzani has reported that a new meeting between Pellegrini’s agent and Tiago Pinto took place today and they’ve essentially closed the new contract.

The agreement has been defined in all regards and they’re only waiting for Dan Friedkin’s return to Italy from the United States. Pellegrini will extend till the summer of 2026 and he will earn €4 million per season in the new deal and that is less than only Tammy Abraham.

Pellegrini has impressed under Jose Mourinho this season, having played eight times in all competitions and contributing to just as many goals.
