Arthur says ‘yes’ to Arsenal, Juventus still holding up deal

Juventus midfielder Arthur has now said ‘yes’ to Arsenal and he would like to join the club but the Bianconeri are still holding up the deal.

Marco Conterio has reported that Arthur likes Mikel Arteta’s project at Arsenal, who are looking to have the player on a dry loan while paying his full salary. But Arsenal are still missing an approval from Juve.

The first reason is that Juve still want to trust Arthur, despite a shaky start to life in Turin. They believe that he can still be a vital player for them this season.

Secondly, a dry loan deal doesn’t convince Juve at this point. It won’t allow them any money into their coffers and would make sure that they struggle to get a replacement in the short-term or the long-term. Because of that, Juve are not giving green light to the move.
