Barcelona move would appeal Juventus’ Paulo Dybala

A move to Barcelona would appeal Juventus star Paulo Dybala, who is about to leave the club in the summer on a free transfer.

A host of clubs are interested in La Joya and the likes of Inter, Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been linked with a move for the Argentine. Gianluca di Marzio spoke to Wettfreunde in a recent interview and he gave his views about Dybala’s future.

The journalist said: “He should probably find a club and a competition where the pace of play isn’t as intense as in Serie A or the Premier League. La Liga could be perfect for him, with new emotions, new way of playing, more focus on technique. I don’t know if FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Valencia.”

The journalist believes that Barcelona may have a genuine chance of signing him. He said: “I know Paulo would like to play in Barcelona because his brother lives there. But it depends on what Barcelona plan in attack. I don’t think Messi is coming back so Paulo could be the perfect number 10 for Barcelona.”

Di Marzio also revealed that Dybala not signing a new deal was because of the project Juve had on offer. Dusan Vlahovic was going to be at the centre of the project and Dybala didn’t get the guarantees that he wanted.
