Milan are interested in Bologna’s Scottish defender Aaron Hickey and he is seen as an effective back-up for Theo Hernandez.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have confirmed rumours from Scotland recently, reporting that Hickey is one of the names on the Rossoneri’s shortlist to be a potential rotation option for Hernandez in the future.
Milan are indeed looking at a back-up for Hernandez and they will look to sign one in the summer, with Fode Ballo-Toure being someone who can ask to be sold in the summer due to a lack of gametime at the Rossoneri this season.
Because of that, Hickey’s name has climbed up in the shortlist and while it isn’t known whether a summer move will be made or not, there is certainly interest.
