Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech wants to join Milan

With Milan securing their first knock-out qualification in the Champions League since the 2013/14 season, the management remains determined to strengthen their squad even in the upcoming January transfer window.

According to a report from Italian journalist Daniele Longo, there have been new signals coming from the side of Hakim Ziyech in recent days. The Moroccan attacker wants to wear the Rossoneri shirt.

His entourage has also expressed the player’s willingness to the Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. It is understood that the player’s representatives have proposed a potential loan deal with an option to buy for the Dronten-born playmaker.

While the idea interests the Rossoneri, they have not made any final decision on signing him from the Premier League side. The idea for the Italian club is to try for Ziyech in the January transfer window only if Pioli requires reinforcement of that sort. Milan have been keeping tabs on the 29-year-old for a long time, with his contract with Chelsea set to run out in June 2025.
