Conte wants Hellas Verona star at Tottenham

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is interested in bringing Antonin Barak to the club in the summer.

Verona-based outlet L’Arena have reported about the situation of Barak, claiming that he is the ‘express request’ of Conte and the Italian had made a demand for the player in January when Spurs had signed Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.

It is stated that Spurs are willing to meet Conte’s demand now and they would have to meet Verona’s valuation demand of around €20 million. The report goes on to state that Spurs could be willing to invest that fee in the player in the summer.

Barak has impressed for Verona this season, scoring 11 goals and racking up four assists. He was also linked with a move to West Ham in January.
