Federico Chiesa returns to Juventus squad for Paris Saint-Germain game

Italy international Federico Chiesa has returned to the Juventus for the club’s Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain.

Chiesa picked up a knee injury in January this year and hasn’t featured for club or country since then. While he did return to training for the club and trained with the Under-17s, he has not returned to the pitch for the Bianconeri.

But Juventus have confirmed that the Italian is part of the squad for the game against PSG, alongside Arkadiusz Milik and youngster Matias Soule. Dusan Vlahovic has been out as he picked up an injury against Benfica, with Moise Kean also having picked up an injury and hasn’t trained with the side.

The Bianconeri are going through an injury crisis, with Angel di Maria also injured. Weston McKennie is also out, with defender Bremer injured and Danilo suspended from action in the Champions League. A win against PSG would hand Juve a path into the Europa League.
