Fiorentina want to undergo a full-fledged renovation this summer, with Giovani Lo Celso being the latest to make the wishlist of La Viola.
Unsure of his role for the Londoners under the management of Antonio Conte, the Argentinian made a six-month loan move to Villarreal in the last winter transfer window.
In Spain, the 26-year-old made 16 appearances in La Liga, amassing one goal and one assist. He was a reason for excitement among the enthusiasts of the Yellow Submarine at times last season.
But the likelihood suggests that the player will return to London this summer. The compatriot of Lionel Messi has a contract with the Lilywhites until June 2025. Lo Celso is currently considered surplus to Conte’s requirements at Spurs.
As for La Viola, Lo Celso remains an option. The reports from Spain are pushing the idea of Fiorentina being interested in the former Real Betis star, though.
