Fiorentina set a deadline for Nikola Milenković’s sale

Nikola Milenković’s future at Fiorentina remains unclear, with clubs from Italy and England keeping tabs on his situation at the Italian side.

A report from Corriere della Sera claims that Fiorentina have set a deadline for Nikola Milenković’s sale this summer.

It is suggested that any team, interested in signing the defender from La Viola amid this summer transfer window, must contact the Florence-based club by 4th August to close the operation.

Fiorentina played a friendly against Galatasaray on Sunday. Milenković did not make the squad, leading to the birth of the speculation that he is open to leaving La Viola.

The latest report confirms the credibility of those rumours, with Fiorentina awaiting concrete bids from the player’s suitors. As reported previously, there is no shortage of admirers in Milenković’s case.

Juventus, Inter, and even Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in signing the 24-year-old centre-back this summer.

If the aforementioned report is understood to be true, it would be intriguing to see what happens once the reported deadline expires.
