Inter have now raised their offer to sign Romelu Lukaku on loan, as their loan deal for Simone Inzaghi edges close.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Nerazzurri have come even more close to signing Lukaku on loan this summer. Their first offer of €5 million was pegged back and they have now made a counter offer of €7 million in response to Chelsea’s demand for €10 million. They are also ready to offer bonuses in the deal.
The journalist has also reported that the new deal announcement for Inzaghi is expected between Tuesday and Wednesday this week and the agreement was reached a while ago. The decisive point has now been reached, with the manager now set to re-sign till the summer of 2024 and get a salary enhancement.
Inzaghi helped Inter finish second last season and they progressed into the knockout round of the Champions League for the first time in a decade.
