Juventus consider Max Allegri’s position but immediate sacking unlikely

Juventus are now considering Massimiliano Allegri’s position at the club but a sacking is currently quite unlikely.

Juve lost 1-0 to Monza last night and while they were only playing with ten men, the defeat came days after the loss to Benfica and the draw against Salernitana. It was Monza’s first win of the season.

Fabiana della Valle has reported that there has never been so much distance between all the parties at Juventus. The players are disheartened and Allegri is now confused about what is going on. At the end of the game yesterday, Max took refuge in the team bus with a livid face, waiting for the team to arrive.

The relationship with Angel di Maria has broken down as well, with the Argentine unhappy about how his injury was handled. The fact that he was sent off was only fitting of the situation.

The club has increasing doubts about Allegri’s position, which is now being considered. But a decision will likely be made during November’s international break and the Italian is expected to remain at the helm till the time Juve understand whether they can make it to the next round of the Champions League or not. As of now, there is no change in sight.
