Juventus initiate contact for Milinkovic-Savic with Lazio ready for sale

Juventus have initiated contact for Lazio’s Sergey Milinkovic-Savic and Lazio have decided to sell the player this summer.

Giovanni Albanese has reported today that Juve have made contact with the entourage of Milinkovic-Savic, who is quite liked by Massimiliano Allegri for a while now. In the meeting involving Maurizio Sarri, Igli Tare and Claudio Lotito recently, they made the decision to conduct a big sale and that would be Milinkovic-Savic.

Milinkovic-Savic is considered a more affordable option overall than Paul Pogba and the relations with the entourage of the Serbian have always been positive, with the player having previously indicated his willingness about a move.

His wages would be affordable, with his current deal making him earn €3.2 million. The negotiations with Lazio could be complex, with Lotito starting his request at €65 million to €70 million. The player’s will could be key in reducing that and while Lazio may not want Juve to include a player in the deal, Arthur’s profile does interest Sarri.
