Lazio see Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a potential replacement for Sergey Milinkovic-Savic.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have gone in detail about the players that Maurizio Sarri wants at Lazio in the summer, with the Roman club looking to give the squad a complete makeover following the impending departure of Sergey Milinkovic-Savic.
They mention the likes of Allan and Dries Mertens as targets, it is stated that Sarri sees Loftus-Cheek as a replacement for Milinkovic-Savic and the Italian manager sees the Englishman as a ‘dream’ signing for the summer.
His arrival will depend on the exit of the Serbian though, as signing him without the sale will not be possible. Lazio are looking to sign players that Sarri wants such that they stay on the Italian’s safe side.
Radio Sei have stated further that Lazio can ask for an initial loan deal, with the player currently earning €3.5 million per season.
