Manchester City are said to be currently studying a potential move for Juventus playmaker Paulo Dybala.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Pep Guardiola has always been a big admirer of La Joya and that is largely because of his liking for players that can play different roles on the pitch, while being equally effective everywhere that they can play.
City feel Dybala on a free transfer as a big opportunity to get Guardiola a player that he really appreciates since his time at Bayern Munich and the club will easily be able to afford the wage demands of the Argentine too.
They will be willing to put a salary in double figures per season on the table for the player, with Inter also courting La Joya currently. But the Nerazzurri currently can’t afford to pay the double figure salary for the player.
It is said that while Dybala has never intended to play in the Premier League, Pep’s City is an exception that he could be willing to make following failed moves to Man United and Tottenham in the past.Â
Juventus’ signing of Dusan Vlahovic means that they have allocated a significant amount of budget towards the Serbian but the previous agreement that Juve reached with the agent of Dybala was €8 million plus bonuses of €2 million. In the meantime, Juve’s priorities changed and they are expected to hold new talks next month.
