Max Allegri could stay at Juventus till the end of 2022

Juventus could find it easier to make a decision around Max Allegri’s future at the end of 2022.

The Bianconeri lost 2-0 to Milan recently after having won two consecutive games by beating Maccabi Haifa and Bologna. But that small patch hasn’t led to any formidable improvements.

Fabiana della Valle has reported that as things stand, the manager and the club’s higher management agree that there are too many underperforming players in the side and the game against Maccabi is key, as it will decide the club’s fate in the Champions League.

While the club will be looking at decisions by November, a potential sacking for Allegri will have to wait by the end of the year due to the financial reasons surrounding the manager’s current contract. And if they do not qualify for the Champions League, the financial losses will be higher.

To stay in the role, Allegri will have to make sure that by November, results and the situation of the league campaign is salvageable. Else, his sacking will become neccessary for the club.
