Milan edge close to signing of Liverpool man

Milan are edging closer to sealing the signing of Liverpool forward Divock Origi.

Daniele Longo has reported that the representatives of Origi met with Milan last Monday to talk about a potential free transfer to San Siro in the summer. An agreement was reached between the parties of a multi-year contract worth €4 million per season. The terms will be finalised in the next few weeks.

The parties are expected to meet again soon to put the last pieces together for the move. Milan are well ahead of the race which involves other English and Turkish clubs.

Origi considers his Liverpool adventure to have concluded and he wants to be at a club where he is the protagonist. That is why the project at Milan fascinates him, with the Rossoneri waiting for some final clarifications.

A clause in Origi’s contract allows for a unilateral renewal at Liverpool if he plays a certain amount of games but he has not been used much by Jurgen Klopp this season.
