Milan interested in Chelseaโ€™s Edouard Mendy

Milan are interested in the possibility of signing Chelseaโ€™s Edouard Mendy but a move remains complex for the Rossoneri.

Mike Maignanโ€™s injury issues have complated Milanโ€™s goalkeeping situation, even though the Rossoneri are trying to sign Marco Sportiello. But Maignanโ€™s injury means that that they are in the market for a low-cost and short-term deal for a first-choice goalkeeper as well.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported for Corriere della Sera that the Rossoneri are eyeing a short-term deal in the market and Mendy is a name that is liked by the club. Even though the goalkeeper is a second-choice at Chelsea, a move for him is difficult because of the sort of deal that the Diavolo are eyeing.

The 30-year-old has played only nine games in the Premier League but in Chelseaโ€™s recent league games, Kepa has become the regular between the sticks โ€“ especially under Graham Potterโ€™s tutelage. Mendy has won the Champions League with the Blues, who were then under Thomas Tuchel.
