Nantes CEO Franck Kita has stated that the French side will do everything to beat Juventus in the UEFA Europa League.
The French side have been drawn with the Bianconeri in the Round of 16 of the Europa League, with Barcelona set to take on Manchester United. Juve had finished third in the group in the Champions League, with Paris Saint-Germain finishing second and Benfica finishing first.
Kita spoke to Sky Italia (via TMW) recently and he gave his views about the upcoming tie, stating that his club will do everything to beat the Old Lady in the tie.
“It will be a good match, we will play against a huge team, an icon of football and we will play as if it were our last match. We are thrilled to play this game. We have a team that gives everything until the end, I can promise that we will give everything to beat them. We have fantastic fans.”
Juventus had won just one game in the Champions League and that came against Maccabi Haifa, who ended up beating them in Israel in the reverse fixture anyway. They lost to Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica in both the games, dropping into the Europa League for the first time in over a decade.
