Napoli could sell winger and Arsenal-linked striker in the same window

Victor Osimhen might not be Napoli’s only departure in the approaching summer transfer window, with reports claiming that Hirving Lozano could share the same fate.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is willing to listen to the offers for Lozano in the upcoming summer transfer market.

Lozano joined Napoli for a reported transfer fee of more than €40million in 2019. In an interview with Mexican TV last year, he revealed that he would like to play for a club “stronger” than Napoli. Therefore, the Mexican could be another player to pack his bag after Osimhen in the transfer window.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window. As for Lozano, there is no mention of a particular club in the report, but it is clear that De Laurentiis will not stop the 26-year-old if he chooses to part ways with the Naples-based side this time. Lozano has amassed five goals and six assists from 28 Serie A appearances in the 2021/22 campaign.
