Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz ready for club exit

Napoli Fabian Ruiz is said to be ready to leave the club and he isn’t willing to sign a new deal with the club.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Spaniard doesn’t have intentions to sign a new contract at Napoli, with his current deal running out in the summer of 2023. He feels ready for a new experience elsewhere at the age of 26.

If he wanted, he could have said ‘yes’ to a move to Atletico Madrid and moved there when Rino Gattuso was the Napoli manager. But despite Atletico’s offer for him, he refused the move as he was impressed by Napoli’s ambitions. But now, he feels ready to move on.

Clubs in Spain still like him but contenders from other leagues are also expected to emerge. Napoli would like around €50 million for the player but it isn’t known whether that much money can be brought in. The club wants a capital profit and enough money for a replacement.
