Newcastle United are interested in the possibility of signing Italy international Jorginho, who could be replaced by Enzo Fernandez.
Sky Italia have reported about the situation of Jorginho, amidst talk of the fact that the Blues are keen on paying Fernandez’s release clause. It is stated that if Chelsea do sign Fernandez, he would replace Jorginho, who has attracted the interest of Newcastle United.
The Italian’s contract at Stamford Bridge runs out in the summer of 2023 and he will leave on a free transfer, if the World Cup winner does arrive at the London side.
The report also goes on to say that Benoit Badiashile will soon be a Chelsea player, with talks between Monaco and the Blues at an advanced stage, with an agreement expected to be reached in the next few days. Badiashile has previously been linked with a move to Juventus as well, but the Bianconeri have always deemed the price tag to be too high.
