Newcastle Utd keeping close eye on Udinese’s Beto

Premier League side Newcastle United are said to be keeping a close eye on Udinese striker Beto.

MondoUdinese claim that while a lot of clubs and teams across Europe have sent scouts to watch the striker play this season, as he has impressed in a short amount of time in his initial loan deal. But out of all the clubs, Newcastle seem to be in pole position for the player.

Talks and a potential move can be expected in June and if an important offer arrives, Udinese will not be able to peg it back. It is said that this is still an evolving situation.

Beto has eight league goals this season for Udinese and while his loan at the Friuli club ends in the summer, it will be made permanent if certain conditions are met.
