OFFICIAL | Juventus sign Leandro Paredes from PSG

Juventus have now confirmed the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The Argentine midfielder was seen as a key target by the Bianconeri this summer but they were struggling to bring the move forward due to finances. Arthur’s move to Valencia failed because of the Spanish side and personal terms between Adrien Rabiot and Manchester United couldn’t be agreed.

The Bianconeri have confirmed that Paredes has now joined Juve on an initial loan deal, with the Old Lady having the option to buy permanently. But it could turn into an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.

Combining all fees, Juve will have to pay a total of €22.6 million for the signing. The bonuses of €2.5 million will have to be paid to the Old Lady on the basis of certain sporting achievements as well.

Personal terms between the two parties were done a while back and they were never a problem.
