OFFICIAL | Mady Camara joins Roma from Olympiacos

Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara has now joined Roma and the Giallorossi have welcomed yet another signing.

The Roman outfit have now confirmed that the midfielder has joined on an initial loan deal for the rest of the season from the Greek side, but the Giallorossi will have the option to buy him permanently at the end of the current campaign as well.

This comes after Roma had actually signed Gini Wijnaldum on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain but the Dutch midfielder picked up a fracture, due to which he has been ruled out for largely a half of this season. Roma needed to sign a potential replacement and Camara is that player.

Camara had joined Olympiacos from Ajaccio back in the summer of 2018 and in the previous league campaign, the midfielder made 22 appearances and picked up one assist. He racked up two goals and picked up four assists during the 2020/21 season.
