OFFICIAL | Paulo Dybala joins Roma on a 3-year contract

Ending the prolonged saga regarding his widely discussed uncertain future, Paulo Dybala has finally joined Roma on a three-year contract.

Roma have announced the signing of Paulo Dybala. It is observed that La Joya has signed a contract at the Giallorossi until June 2025.

The cajoling words of Roma manager Jose Mourinho have reportedly played a key role in persuading Dybala’s resolution. Earlier this summer, La Joya was close to joining Inter.

But with Inter signing Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, their intended deal for Dybala took a hit. Later, Milan and Napoli entered the fray with an intention to land the former Juventus star. But the outcome of the race suggests that Roma ended up being the winner.

Outside Italy, Manchester United were reportedly showing interest in the creative playmaker. Nevertheless, the player stuck to his willingness to stay put in Italy.

It is claimed that he will be earning a salary of around €6 million per season (including bonuses). The 28-year-old Argentinian has played 12 matches against Roma in Serie A, amassing four goals and two assists so far.
