Considered a hidden gem in Serie A, Mikkel Damsgaard has attracted transfer interest from Premier League club Brentford amid the summer transfer window.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Brentford have lodged an offer for Mikkel Damsgaard. The Premier League club wants to land the Danish winger this summer and have thus proposed a deal to sign him from the Italian club.
Elaborating on the manner of the proposal, the report claims that the latest offer from the English club includes a fixed amount of €11 million plus additional bonuses of around €7 million.
Although Sampdoria are reportedly asking for a higher valuation, the general feeling indicates that the parties could easily strike a deal for the transfer of the 22-year-old.
Meanwhile, Sampdoria are also involved in negotiations with Roma for Gonzalo Villar and would also like to complete a reunion with Lucas Torreira, who has returned to Arsenal following the end of his loan spell at Fiorentina.
