Roma await development on Kamara as Man Utd lead race

Serie A giants Roma are awaiting for any developments on Boubacar Kamara as Manchester United lead the race to sign the player.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Amadou Diawara is set to discuss his future with Roma once he returns from AFCON and he could leave the Giallorossi in the remaining few days of the January transfer window.

Roma continue to look for another midfielder and they are said to be waiting for developments on Kamara’s situation, with Tiago Pinto keeping a close eye on the situation of the player. There is said to be a mutual liking between the two parties in this case.

Man Utd are said to be going in strong on the player and are leading the race for him currently, after having overtaken other competitors. Roma have made direct contact with the player’s entourage and they are still keeping an eye on him.

Nahitan Nandez is also an option for Roma and Cagliari also like Diawara but a swap deal seems difficult.
