Roma and Jose Mourinho focusing on Man Utd target Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala has been without a club since leaving Juventus as a free agent. Arsenal, Manchester United, and teams in Italy have been closely monitoring the situation.

According to La Repubblica, Roma boss Jose Mourinho has requested the signing of Paulo Dybala. The Portuguese manager would love to get the Argentinian under his rank from the start of the 2022/23 campaign.

He has asked Tiago Pinto to evaluate the details of a potential deal for La Joya, but it would be difficult for the Giallorossi management to fulfil the manager’s desire.

As previously reported, Roma are awaiting a concrete offer for Nicolo Zaniolo, who has already agreed on a four-year contract with the Bianconeri.

If Juve manage to take Zaniolo off Roma’s shoulders, the Roman side could consider ramping up their interest in the 28 -year-old playmaker.

On the other hand, Paulo Dybala has also agreed to lower his salary demands to earn a move this summer. But a transfer doesn’t seem imminent.

Manchester United have enquired about the South American, but the Premier League club’s need for Dybala hinges on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

Napoli, Inter, and Milan are the other clubs showing interest in signing the player, but none of these teams is desperate to sign La Joya.

Despite getting involved in advanced negotiations, Inter had to back off. Unless they manage to offload some of the redundant players, a move to Inter for Dybala seems impossible.
