Roma’s Tammy Abraham after brace against Lazio: “I have no words, I couldn’t ask for more.”

Roma striker Tammy Abraham has stated that he couldn’t ask for more, following his impressive brace against Lazio.

Abraham struck in the 1st minute of the derby and struck some minutes later to make it 2-0. Lorenzo Pellegrini hit a brilliant free-kick to make it 3-0 just before half time and to effectively seal the deal for the Giallorossi.

Abraham spoke to DAZN after the game and he gave his views about the performance: “I have no words, I had heard so much about this match and after these two goals I couldn’t ask for more. It’s thanks to the teammates, the fans, the coach, they always made me feel at home.

“Roma have invested a lot in me. and I want to repay her with these performances. I’m still disappointed with that goal I missed, usually from there I’m not wrong. I can’t complain.”

Abraham is now the highest scoring Englishman in the top five European leagues and he broke the records of Vincenzo Montella and Gabriel Batistuta for scoring most goals in their first season at Roma.
