Carnevali opens up on Juventus’ interest in Raspadori, Inter’s inclination towards Scamacca and more

Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali, in his recent interview, talked about the club’s plans regarding outgoings ahead of the summer transfer market.

In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Giovanni Carnevali opened up on various transfer deals that could potentially see some of their best players leaving the Mapei Stadium in the approaching summer transfer window.

While asked about Juventus’ interest in Giacomo Raspadori, Carnevali clarified, “Raspadori close to Juventus? I wouldn’t want to sell anyone, we have the economic strength to keep all our jewels. They asked us for him at the end of the 2021 summer transfer market, but there was no time. Giacomo is ideal for Juventus.”

Since joining Sassuolo from Juventus, Domenico Berardi has proven his worth in Italian Serie A. And now, he has also been amassing interest from across the continent. On Berardi, the chief executive officer of Sassuolo opined, “Berardi, our champion, would be perfect for Milan.”

Carnevalli belives that Inter hold a keen interest in Gianluca Scamacca. But they are not alone, with the same kind of interest being nurtured by various Premier League clubs. He added, “Scamacca? Inter have expressed their interest, but be careful abroad because they have many offers, even in the Premier League.”

Davide Frattesi and Maxime Lopez has been outstanding for the Serie A outlet this season. Their sensational form has resulted in teams from various ends of the world keeping tabs on their developments ahead of the transfer window.

“Frattesi would probably need another year with us, but Traoré has blossomed and is liked by Napoli, as well as in the Premier League. The one with the most requests, however, is Maxime Lopez, who is wanted in Serie A and abroad,” Carnevali concluded.
