Sassuolo are keen to sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin on the last day of the summer transfer window.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that while the Neroverdi are looking to sign the Spaniard, Barcelona are also interested in the right-back, who spent the previous season on loan at Real Betis.
Sassuolo are looking to strengthen in the right-back spot and they are looking to close the deal for him in the last few hours of the summer transfer window.
Bellerin is said to be out of Mikel Arteta’s plans and the Gunners are willing to sell him. As things stand though, Barcelona are waiting to potentially sign him as well and they remain interested.
In his loan spell at Real Betis last season, he had made 23 appearances in La Liga and racked up two assists for the club as well. He showed promise at Arsenal but injuries hindered his progress at the club.
