Serie A want games to go ahead despite ASL isolations

Lega Serie A want tomorrow’s league games to go ahead despite local health authorities suggesting otherwise and imposing health restrictions and isolations on clubs.

Sky Italia claim that local ASL authorities have imposed isolations on at least four clubs and they cannot travel for tomorrow’s games in the league. This includes Torino, Udinese, Salernitana and Napoli have had further COVID close contacts.

But the league is not ready to postpone any games and they expect teams to show up and play the games and a failure to do so will bring about a 3-0 loss to them.

UEFA regulations state that if a team has 13 players available and a goalkeeper, the game should go ahead.
