Arsenal and Fiorentina midfielder Lucas Torreira has stated that while he is happy with La Viola, he does not know what will happen in the future.
Torreira scored a second-half winner for Fiorentina against Bologna, as he tapped home from close range to hand the club a 1-0 win at home.
After the game, the Uruguayan spoke to Sky Italia and talked about a host of things. He was also asked about his future and whether it lies at La Viola.
The midfielder said: “The most important thing is that I have to find happiness on the pitch and here I am finding it both on and off the pitch. It depends on many other things because my club is Arsenal.
“I don’t know what will happen between clubs that will have to find an agreement, but I want to stay focused on the season finale.”
Torriera has impressed this season for Fiorentina and he has become a regular in the deeper midfield role under Vincenzo Italiano. There have been reports of Fiorentina having held talks with his agent and that they want Arsenal to lower the asking price for the player.
