Lyon are interested in signing Juventus’ Rodrigo Bentancur after Tottenham had an approach rejected by the Bianconeri.
Goal Italia have claimed recently that Lyon are interested in the Uruguayan and he is one of the midfielders that is on the shortlist of the French club for this month. Spurs’ Giovani Lo Celso has also been linked with a move to Lyon.
This comes after Gianluca di Marzio had reported that Spurs had a loan approach turned down for Bentancur as well. Sky Italia had stated last night that Aston Villa had come forward for the midfielder but the bid was rejected by the Old Lady.
Spurs are currently said to be working on a deal to sign Dejan Kulusevski from Juve, who want an initial loan with the obligation to buy him permanently after having offered the player to Milan in an unsuccessful attempt.
