The agents of West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca are trying to make sure that the player joins Roma this summer.
Sky Italia have reported about the situation of the Azzurri star, who won the UEFA Conference League title with the Hammers some weeks ago even though he didn’t feature in the final. While West Ham initially did not agree to a loan approach from Roma for Scamacca, the move isn’t dead yet.
Roma are continuing to work in an attempt to land the ex-Sassuolo man, whose agents are also working towards making sure that he ends up joining the Giallorossi this summer.
It has been previously reported about Scamacca is keen on returning to Italy and is highly interested in moving back to Roma, where he spent many years of his youth career.
Since joining West Ham from Sassuolo last summer, Scamacca has not managed to break into the Hammers’ first-team and while injuries didn’t help him, he is third in the club’s striker pecking order.
