Al Hilal have offered Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri a mega salary to convince him to come to Saudi Arabia.
Allegri has even met with a delegation of Al Hilal in Monaco, Rai Sport report (via TuttoJuve). The Arabian team reportedly offered the Juventus head coach a three-year-contract with a salary of €30 million a season, plus a signing bonus of €10 million.
The 55-year-old is not popular amongst Juventus fans at the moment. Allegri finished 7th in Serie A with Juventus (also because of the points penalty), crashed out of the Champions League group stages and stranded in the Europa League Semi Final against Sevilla. While many have called for the coach to be sacked, Juventus have always remained confident in him. Juventus’ conservative style of play that Allegri has implemented has been under discussion for a while now amongst fans and critics.
It is yet to be seen if this offer is enough to convince Allegri to move away from Turin, but with such a sum of money, it would be crazy not to consider it at least. Allegri was spotted enjoying his vacation in Sardinia recently, so it remains to be seen what his decision will be.
