Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun keen on Inter move

Folarin Balogun has been linked with a move away from Arsenal for a while now, and according to Gazzetta, it seems that the American has his heart set on Inter. Balogun was on loan at Reims last season, and scored an impressive 21 league goals, making him one of the top scorers in Ligue 1.

After his exploits in the French league, Lens have shown their interest in the 22-year-old, but he is making it clear that he only wants Inter as of now. The price tag that Arsenal have put on him is around €35 million, and Inter are expected to put in an offer this week.

Balogun’s good friend Marcus Thuram recently completed a move to Inter, and Balogun is keen to strike up a partnership with him up-front for the Nerazzurri. The American has spent pre-season on the bench, watching his Arsenal team-mates play. He spoke to Mikel Arteta and said that he wants to play, and he wants to be in Italy donning the blue of Inter.
