Premier League side Aston Villa could make progress in a move for Milanโs Charles de Ketelaere despite their first offer being lower than the Rossoneriโs asking price.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today claim that Milan want โฌ30 million to sell the Belgian but Villaโs first offer will not go that far. Their first approach will be of โฌ25 million and they are reflecting on making that. If the Premier League side decide that the player is worth more, they are likely to increase their offer and an agreement could probably be reached mid-way.
Talks between the sides have taken place and Milan are waiting for the English sideโs proposal to come in. They are the only team that have come so far in the race for the Belgian. The Rossoneri believe that other clubs can still come in and the money earned from the sale will be used to sign more players this summer, as they continue to wait for the sales of Ante Rebic and Divock Origi.
