Serie A side Bologna are looking to exercise the right-to-buy option in the case of new loanee signing Alexis Saelemaekers.ย
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Bologna have found an instrumental asset in the like of Alexis Saelemaekers this season and the clubโs project goes hand-in-hand with that of the playerโs vision.
The Belgianโs first goal was to return to the field for his national side and thanks to his wonderful performances playing for Thiago Mottaโs club, he got the chance to feature for The Red Devils during the international break. After an underwhelming last season in the Milan ranks, the 24-year-old has finally got the opportunity to showcase his talent despite playing for a provincial team.
The Rossoblu secured Saelemaekers loan deal for a fee close to โฌ500 thousand with a right-to-buy option set at โฌ11 million. The internal decision amongst the Emilia-based side is to sign the right winger permanently. They are aware of the Rossoneriโs interest in Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson and there might be a possibility for an exchange deal.
