Bologna looking to sign Milanโ€™s Alexis Saelemaekers permanently

Serie A side Bologna are looking to exercise the right-to-buy option in the case of new loanee signing Alexis Saelemaekers.ย 

According to a report by Daniele Longo, Bologna have found an instrumental asset in the like of Alexis Saelemaekers this season and the clubโ€™s project goes hand-in-hand with that of the playerโ€™s vision.

The Belgianโ€™s first goal was to return to the field for his national side and thanks to his wonderful performances playing for Thiago Mottaโ€™s club, he got the chance to feature for The Red Devils during the international break. After an underwhelming last season in the Milan ranks, the 24-year-old has finally got the opportunity to showcase his talent despite playing for a provincial team.

The Rossoblu secured Saelemaekers loan deal for a fee close to โ‚ฌ500 thousand with a right-to-buy option set at โ‚ฌ11 million. The internal decision amongst the Emilia-based side is to sign the right winger permanently. They are aware of the Rossoneriโ€™s interest in Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson and there might be a possibility for an exchange deal.
