Everton reach agreement with Udinese for Beto

Premier League side Everton have now reached an agreement with Udinese to sign striker Beto.

The Toffees had been linked with a move the Portuguese striker even in January but a move could not materialise, but they are now all but set to sign the 25-year-old.

It was reported yesterday that an agreement between the two clubs was close but Fabrizio Romano has now reported that there is an agreement between Udinese and the Toffees for the Portuguese, with the agreement in place for a fee which is just less than the current release clause.

The fee is in excess of €30 million, with the first bid from Everton having previously been at €25 million and bonuses of €5 million. Personal terms between the player and Everton are already in place and Beto could undergo a medical with Everton as early as Sunday, with final details now being agreed between the two parties.
