Further details emerge about Milan’s move for Daichi Kamada

With only a few minor details left to be sorted, Milan are looking to schedule medicals for Daichi Kamada who is set to sign for free.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, optimism is high on the Milan side as they set to welcome Daichi Kamada from Eintracht Frankfurt in the next few days. The Rossoneri are expected to schedule medical examinations next week for the Japanese versatile midfielder.

While there was some fog regarding the deal, it all cleared up after Stefano Pioli’s men secured their place in the Champions League group stages for next season with a matchday to go. With a top-four finish confirmed, Milan now have a huge opportunity to work with in the upcoming transfer market and Kamada’s deal would be the first one of the pack.

Signing Daichi Kamada seemed plausible for the Rossoneri in a cost-benefit ratio as they will only cover his wages and as his contract was set to expire this season, he was free to negotiate with any club for a free transfer.
