Inter CEO Beppe Marotta: “For the final we will have to stand by our boys because everyone’s contribution is essential. Forza Inter!”

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta revealed his thoughts earlier this afternoon of the Champions League finals between the Nerazzurri and Manchester City in Istanbul.

Despite the underwhelming domestic campaign in which the Beneamata ended off with a total of twelve losses, the Benemata managed to obtain two domestic trophies and have reached the European finals for the first time since they have last won it in 2010 in Madrid.

Despite the financial constraints put in place by the board, Marotta played a vital role in obtaining key players Francesco Acerbi, Henrik Mkhiatryan, and Romelu Lukaku within the market ahead of this year’s campaign.

While speaking to the press, via FcInterNews, Marotta described the emotions he is undergoing ahead of the European finale:

“It’s a very strong emotion, we’re not here by chance, the whole club has been working hard for this for some time. We’re here because we deserved it, it’s a strong emotion, it’s a touching moment. The anticipation grows every minute and we will give everything to crown this journey with success.I thank all of you, the partners who have been close to us every day together with our fans.”

For the final we will have to stand by our boys because everyone’s contribution is essential. Forza Inter!”
